Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

Skeye (“Skeye,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides an AI-powered aviation ground-school platform at skeyementor.com (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Account information. When you create an account we collect your name, email address, and a securely hashed password. If you sign in with a third-party provider, we receive your name and email from that provider.

Learning data. As you use Skeye we store your study activity — lessons viewed, quiz answers, scores, readiness metrics, flashcard reviews, and questions you ask the AI instructor — so we can track your progress and personalize your experience.

Payment information. Subscription payments are processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store your full card number; we retain only limited billing details such as plan, status, and the last four digits of your card.

Technical data. We automatically collect basic device and usage information (browser type, IP address, pages visited) to operate and secure the Service.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service and your personalized study plan;
  • Power the adaptive quiz engine and AI flight instructor;
  • Process subscriptions, trials, and referral credits;
  • Send transactional messages such as account, billing, and support notices;
  • Protect against fraud, abuse, and security threats; and
  • Comply with legal obligations.

3. AI Instruction

Questions you ask the AI flight instructor and relevant learning context are processed by third-party large language model providers to generate responses. We do not sell this content, and we instruct our providers not to use it to train their public models where that option is available.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate the Service (such as hosting, payment processing, and AI providers), and only to the extent needed to perform those services. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users and the public.

5. Data Retention & Security

We retain your account and learning data for as long as your account is active. We use industry-standard safeguards — including encryption in transit and hashed passwords — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data at all times.

6. Your Choices

You may update your account details at any time from your account settings, and you may request deletion of your account by contacting us. Deleting your account removes your personal learning data, subject to records we must keep for legal or accounting purposes.

7. Children’s Privacy

The Service is intended for users pursuing aviation training and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email.
