SkeyeMentor FAA Library

Find the rule. Read the official text. Understand what it means.

Search the full current text of 14 CFR Part 61 and Part 91, the Private Pilot ACS, and official FAA definitions. Every page shows the official source first, clearly separated from SkeyeMentor’s plain-English explanation.

Frequently referenced sections

Sections that come up often in ground training. This is a SkeyeMentor shortcut list, not an FAA list.

Know what you are reading

Not every FAA document carries the same weight. The library labels every page so you always know whether you are looking at binding regulation, FAA guidance, a certification standard, or a SkeyeMentor explanation.

REGULATION — LEGALLY BINDING
Text published in the Code of Federal Regulations. Regulations are legally binding on pilots and operators.
ACS — CERTIFICATION STANDARD
Airman Certification Standards. The ACS defines what an applicant must know, consider and do to pass a practical test. It is a certification standard, not a regulation.
AIM — FAA OPERATIONAL GUIDANCE
Aeronautical Information Manual. FAA operational guidance and recommended practices. The AIM is not regulatory, although it often explains how to comply with regulations.
SKEYEMENTOR — EDUCATIONAL EXPLANATION
Written by SkeyeMentor to help you study. Educational only — not an official FAA source and not legal advice.

SkeyeMentor provides links and contextual explanations to help pilots study, but users should verify current requirements through official FAA, eCFR and other applicable government sources before relying on them operationally.
